Consultation on Internal Examinations
In our recent biennial audit, 82% of students said that they preferred to have their internal school examinations in December rather than January.
We would thus like to gauge whether this would also be the view of parents and would ask that you contact us by replying with your views to info@lumenchristi.derry.ni.sch.uk by Monday 15th June.
We will then consider the options available in planning our examinations for the next academic year.
Many thanks in anticipation of your response.

KS3 Action Duchenne Fund-Raising
KS3 pupils and staff of the College recently responded with great generosity to a very powerful and moving assembly delivered by Oran O’Doherty in 9E. Oran’s younger brother Niall suffers from Muscular Dystrophy. His dad, Kevin, is running his fifth marathon at the end of May to raise money to support the work of Action Duchenne. This charity helps fund vital research into this condition and hopefully someday soon a cure can be found for Niall and all the other children who suffer from Muscular Dystrophy. Many thanks to everyone associated with Lumen Christi who responded so generously to this appeal.
