Lumen Christi College Open Evening – Monday 23rd January 2017
The Principal and Staff invite Primary 7 pupils and their parents / carers to our Open Evening on Monday 23rd January 2017 from 4pm - 7pm.
Principal's Address: 4.00pm and 4.45pm in College Assembly Hall.
Guided tours of departments will be provided by pupils.
Parents of current pupils will be available to share their experience with visitors.

Will Excavation Work begin at Lumen Christi?
A –level students being given a talk on how radar technology works by Grace McAllister, Archaeologist, Queens University, Belfast. The archaeologists completed a geophysical survey of the lawn looking for Siege material that may exist after the Battles of Windmill Hill, which were fought in 1688. The site has never been excavated.
Careers Talk with Year 13 GCE Applied Business Students
Mr Patrick Clay Solicitor and Mr Declan Moore owner of Claude's Café visited the Year 13 Business Studies classes. They outlined the career paths which they had chosen and what a lawyer and businessman could expect day-to-day. Mr Clay outlined the entry to both branches of the legal profession (Bar of Northern Ireland and the Law Society). Mr Moore talked to the class about the many different choices he has to make each day running a successful business. Students fielded questions to both speakers.
They enjoyed the chance to learn more about the relationship between Business and Careers.
