Founded in September 1997 , Lumen Christi is a co-educational Catholic grammar school, open to students of all faiths, respectful of all religious beliefs and encouraging the development of all in their own faith. Our name, meaning Light of Christ, is founded on the principle that His Light will inspire all who are part of our community and is rooted in the belief that the highest standards of academic excellence for all our pupils will derive from a caring environment imbued with the Christian Gospel in action in all its values. Our website will offer you a glimpse of the opportunities in the college for the academic, social, spiritual and personal development of all our students. As well as the widest range of subjects, the college has an extensive extra-curricular programme and a pastoral care system which places the student at the heart of the school. At the core of our vision is the development of a listening culture where openness and honesty are integral to all our relationships.
