Foyle International
Foyle International (formerly Foyle Language School) have an opportunity for our students to experience other cultures and practice their language skills!
They are recruiting families to host our international students this summer. Students come to their school to learn English for a period of 2-6 weeks and prefer to be accommodated in a host family. This means that they have the chance to experience real Irish hospitality and learn about our culture, food and language while in a home from home environment.
Foyle International welcome students from all over the world, including Turkey, Spain and France. It is a fantastic opportunity for local families to widen their horizons, get to know other customs and traditions, and for those interested in foreign languages, a chance to practice with a native speaker. It also looks great on your Curriculum Vitae and UCAS applications!
The organisation will always be in contact with our families, and we offer telephone numbers for staff members to be contacted outside of office hours. So if anyone has any questions or concerns, we are here to help!
Lumen Christi College have included a PDF copy of this for you to look at.
They would also encourage students to get in touch with them at the school over the summer period for cross-cultural activities such as kayaking and music nights. We welcome locals to participate in all our activities.
