Extended Schools Programme - Saturday School (12 week programme)
The college will open on a Saturday morning to facilitate a period of supervised,quiet, uninterrupted Study from 9.15am to 12.15pm for KS4 and KS5 pupils in the College. A healthy breakfast service will be provided for those pupils in attendance.
Dates of Operation:
February: 21st, 28th
March: 7th, 21st, 28th
April: 18th, 25th
May: 9th, 16th, 30th
June: 6th, 13th
Pupils wishing to attend to register their interest with the college prior to commencing. Attendance at all sessions is not compulsory.

The Principal and Staff invite Primary 7 pupils and their parents/carers to our Open Evening on Monday 2nd February from 4pm - 7pm.
Pope John Paul II Award Ceremony in the Millennium Forum
Pictured at the Pope John Paul II Award Ceremony in the Millennium Forum is the Lumen Christi College group who all received the Gold Award for service in their parishes and the local community. Along with the group is Cardinal Edwin O’Brien (Special Guest), Bishop Donal McKeown, Fr Eddie Gallagher and Mayor Brenda Stevenson.

Big Monster Draw Success
Congratulations to Eireann Jackson Year 10 who was runner-up in ‘The Big Monster Draw’ competition hosted by Voluntary Arts Ireland. The competition attracted thousands of entrants from across Ireland. She received her award at a ceremony in the Verbal Arts in Derry on Thursday 29th January. Her work is currently on display at the Verbal Arts Centre until the 29th January and will then be displayed in the Lewis Glucksman Gallery in Cork.

Any Questions? Broadcast from Lumen Christi College
On Friday 20th February the BBC Radio 4 programme – “Any Questions?” was broadcast live from the College.
The panel for the evening were Michelle Gildernew Sinn Fein MP for Fermanagh and South Tyrone, Simon Heffer the author and political commentator, Ian Paisley Junior DUP MP for North Antrim and Jim Gamble former chief executive of the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre who answered questions from the audience. The panel was chaired by Jonathan Dimbleby.
A great evening was had by all. Many thanks to the parents, students, past student, staff and members of the public who attended.
Any Questions? was first broadcast in October 1948. The programme provides the opportunity for people to challenge politicians, policy makers, writers and thinkers.
