Lumen Christi Students to Represent NI in the UK Finals of Mandarin Speaking Competition
Congratulations to our Mandarin students who have been selected to represent Northern Ireland in the UK Finals of the HSBC British Council Mandarin Speaking Competition in London on 5th February.
Leo Doherty and Anitta Sibin Year 14 will take part in the Intermediate and Beginners Competitions respectively. Owen Mc Fadden Year 12 and Niamh Fleming, Grace Martin, Michael Rodgers and Vibhav Nuthanakaiva Year 9 who will take part in the UK Group Final.
We are delighted with their success and wish them all well in the Finals.

Pathway to Peace Event

Chinese New Year Art Competition
Key Stage 3 & 4 Art and Design students designed posters to celebrate Chinese Year of the Rat 2020. A selection of posters were entered into the Mandarin competition with Zach McGinley in Year 8 achieving first place in Northern Ireland. Emer McGonigle Year 9 and Ann Mary Joseph Year 10 also secured Highly Commended awards. All three students will attend the celebration ceremony in Belfast in 2020.
