Congratulations to Oisin Duffy on winning the All-Ireland U-13
Congratulations to Oisin Duffy on winning the All-Ireland U-13 at the weekend in Waterford. A second All-Ireland title in a fortnight.
Also to Eoin Canavan, Mark Chester, Flionn McLaughlin, Euan Bonner and Alex Parlour who picked up Silver team medals. Well done to Aela Stewart, Eimear Stewart and Paul Downey on fantastic runs also.
Christmas Treats
Year 14 Business Studies students selling candy canes and chocolate santas for the Foyle Hospice. This went down a treat with the students. Merry Christmas everyone.
Young Enterprise – Quick Start Programme
Key Stage 3 and 4 students were presented with certificates after completing the Young Enterprise - Quick Start Programme which was held on a Monday 3:30pm - 4:30pm with Ms C Doherty. Participating in the Quick Start Programme students were required to set up a company. This involved them selling Halloween treats. These treats went down a real treat with the students. Each Halloween Treat cup had a little nasty surprise in them….. Spooky!
SVP Hamper Appeal

HSBC / British Council Mandarin Speaking Competition 2017-18
On Tuesday 28th November seven Lumen Christi College students – Amber Mc Daid year 14, Oisin Mc Alinden and Owen Mc Fadden year 10 and Izzy Doherty, Niamh Doherty and Erin Lazarte year 9 took part in the first Northern Ireland heats of HSBC / British Council Mandarin speaking competition held in the MAC in Belfast.
