Breaking News....
Lumen Christi Pupils Report Live from Bishop Street On November 11th, a group of intrepid Year 10 reporters took on a challenge – to create a 3 minute video news report in one afternoon. With the help of a team of journalists from BBC News School Report and equipped with the latest Apple technology, our reporters recorded and edited 3 short news stories. Using the skills gained from this valuable practice session, Year 10 will celebrate World News Day in March by researching, writing, filming, editing and broadcasting their own original news story.
Stay tuned for updates on this exciting project and keep your eyes peeled – they could be investigating a story near you!

LLW Event – Year 11 Diversity & Inclusion Day
The College recently hosted a series of workshops for Year 12 pupils based on the theme of Diversity and Inclusion. Pupils participated in four different workshops; Japanese Taiko Drumming, Filipino Christmas Lantern Crafting, Indian Bollywood Dance and Chinese Chopsticks and Craft Challenges. Pupils engaged in each workshop exploring the culture, language and traditions associated with these 4 countries. Pupils thoroughly enjoyed the interactive nature of the workshops and felt the overall experience enriched their knowledge and understanding of a range of different cultures. It also greatly enhanced their appreciation for these cultures and their traditions.
