Our uniform represents commitment to our school.  When students are in uniform they represent what our school stands for; therefore, we expect a high standard of personal appearance and good behaviour when they wear it. Parents are advised to only purchase uniforms from one of the approved suppliers named below:

Students in years 9 and above may continue to wear the previous uniform until such times as it needs to be replaced.

 

  • Full uniform must be worn at all times; students are expected to have shirts/blouses tucked in and buttoned up.
  • Hair colours must be natural and worn in styles deemed appropriate for school. Hair which is shoulder length or longer, must be neatly tied back at all times using plain hair bands in school colours.  Boys’ hair must not be shorter than a No 3 cut.  Any student who requires further direction about what is an appropriate hairstyle must consult his/her Head of Year / Key Stage before changing hairstyle.
  • Boys must be clean-shaven at all times.
  • Nail varnish and make-up should not be worn at any time in school.
  • Only a wristwatch and/or small single stud earring (either gold or silver) in each lobe, may be worn.
  • Trainers/Canvas shoes of any kind are NOT acceptable as part of the school uniform; parents are thus advised to avoid purchasing shoes through Sports Shops/Online Sports Outlets.
